The Anointing to Battle the Nephilim

During Bible study last Thursday we were discussing the evil and great deceptions that are taking over our nation and the world. One of the things that Jesus taught about the last days was that “…as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man.” If you go back and read in Genesis 6 about the “days of Noah” you will discover something that seems like it comes straight from a Hollywood horror movie! God’s Word tells us that evil fallen angels were having sex with human women and creating a defiled race of giants called the nephilim (a Hebrew word)…half human and half fallen angel.
Life on earth got so bad that “…GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at his heart.” (Genesis 6:5-6) God was sorry that He had even created man. And then Genesis 6:11-13 says that “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
If you don’t think that the human race has arrived at this place again then you have not seen the news! Murder, torture, sexual abuse and slavery, violence, perversion, foul language and a fondness for supernatural evil…it is more common than not. Even the idea of fallen angels/demons seducing and having sex with human women has become widely accepted because of Hollywood’s desensitization through music, books and movies like Twilight. In 2012 pop star Kesha released a song entitled “Supernatural.” In one interview after another she brags that she wrote the song about her sexual encounter with a “ghost.” The very popular pop star Katy Perry released a song in 2010 entitled ‘E.T.” In it she sings about having sex with an alien/devil. Check out these lyrics that teenage girls across the world have been singing….
You're so hypnotizing
Could you be the devil? Could you be an angel?
Your touch magnetizing
Feels like I am floating, leaves my body glowing
They say be afraid
You're not like the others, futuristic lover
Different DNA
They don't understand you
You're from a whole other world
A different dimension
You open my eyes
And I'm ready to go, lead me into the light
Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and
Fill me with your poison
Take me, ta-ta-take me
Wanna be a victim
Ready for abduction
Boy, you're an alien
Your touch so foreign
It's supernatural
Extraterrestrial

Even Christian women who are supposed to be the Bride of Christ have fallen into this trap and spend countless hours singing and reading about these supernatural encounters and watching movies and fantasizing about demonic creatures romancing them! Many are even having these experiences but not telling anyone because they have opened spiritual doorways to Satan. (“Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness…” Isaiah 5:20a)
It would be very easy to become discouraged by all that has happened and is soon to happen in our nation! As if the evil lurking inside our country isn’t bad enough…Now China has revealed their ability and plan to launch nuclear weapons even further into the U.S. than anyone thought they could. Russia is openly threatening the U.S. with nuclear submarines that cannot be detected off of our coasts until it is too late. The U.S. government has been gearing up to take weapons and institute martial law to control its citizens. There are already reports of UN and foreign troops on U.S. soil ready to assist in a takeover. The Vatican and governments around the world have been gearing up to reveal their discovery and cooperation with “aliens” (aka fallen angels/demons/nephilim). The world has certainly gone mad!
As we were discussing all of this in Bible study my husband made a simple statement that impacted me and has been echoing in my spirit ever since. He said that because David was GOD’S ANOINTED, he was anointed with the power to stand boldly and defeat the giant Goliath when it appeared that there was no way. When he said that it hit me like a brick! The same power that was available to David is available to us IF we believe! “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8) Why should God’s people be in fear about what is coming? Why do we feel we will be left to stand against all of this evil with only natural weapons when God said that “the weapons of our warfare are NOT carnal (fleshly)?” Why should we be concerned about troops coming to our door?
David wrote in Psalm 3, “LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! MANY ARE THEY THAT RISE UP AGAINST ME. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But THOU, O LORD, ART A SHIELD FOR ME; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. I WILL NOT BE AFRAID OF TEN THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, THAT HAVE SET THEMSELVES AGAINST ME ROUND ABOUT. Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for Thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; Thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. SALVATION BELONGETH UNTO THE LORD: Thy blessing is upon Thy people. Selah.”
God fights for His anointed ones! HE is our shield and strength. Just look at what the little shepherd boy David told the mighty warrior giant…
“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I COME TO THEE IN THE NAME OF THE LORD OF HOSTS, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will THE LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for THE BATTLE IS THE LORD'S, and He will give you into our hands.” (1 Samuel 17:45-47)
WOW! “The battle is the Lord’s!” What a statement from such an underdog! Why was David so bold? How could he be so confident that God would come through for him? And why were the other children of God not reacting this way when they served the same God? David had a history with the Lord God. He had a personal testimony of God’s salvation and deliverance in his own life. David spent a great deal of time praising and worshipping God, talking and listening to Him and developing a relationship with the Creator of the universe. He trusted God fully and was confident in GOD’s power (not his own). The other children of God were being influenced by what they saw. But as followers of Jesus Christ we are to “walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7) Those around David did not have the intimate relationship and experience with God that produces an unshakeable faith in His goodness and power.
Just go back and read the “classic” Bible stories. There are so many powerful accounts of God’s power and glory. God delivering the children of Israel from Pharaoh by literally lifting a sea out of the way and then drowning the enemy with it! He protected Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego from being burned up in a fire that was intended to kill them! Daniel in the lion’s den, the angel of the Lord springing the apostles from prison, and the list goes on and on! God’s Word says, “So then faith (assurance) cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17) When we read about the supernatural power of God in His written Word, it builds a confidence that He can and will do the same for us. That is why it is so important to read the Bible…it builds our faith in God!
And when we step out in real life and experience the power and glory of God for ourselves then like David with the lion and bear, it builds a personal testimony we can draw from in times of need. Revelation 12:11 says that “…they (the Christians in the tribulation) overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
My husband is quick to testify that he is confident of God’s power to protect because he has experienced it on several occasions. He was leaving church on a Wednesday night with a group of people when a car pulled up and three men got out, pulled shotguns from the trunk and pointed them at him. He did nothing…the battle was the Lord’s! All of a sudden the gunmen looked terrified, threw the guns back in the trunk, jumped back in the car and took off. Glory to God! He fights for His anointed! Another time a bullet flew past his head but he was not harmed. Another time a known Satanist entered Dean’s home without his knowledge. Dean was in the back and all of a sudden heard a loud thud. When he ran out to investigate he found the Satanist picking himself up off of the floor. Someone who was unseen had “clothes lined” the intruder and knocked him to the ground! Praise God for His protection!
If you are worried about what is going on in our government or about the enemy (foreign and domestic) coming to your doorstep all you need to do is look at what happened to the enemy when they came after God’s prophet Elijah...
“Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight. Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight. And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.” (2 Kings 1:9-15)
This mighty display of power was not an isolated scenario. The King of Syria sent a great host after the prophet Elisha and it didn’t work out well for them either!
“And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, FEAR NOT: FOR THEY THAT BE WITH US ARE MORE THAN THEY THAT BE WITH THEM. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.” (2 Kings 6:15-18)
We have a saying here in the south…bless their hearts! You ALMOST feel sorry for the armies that come after God’s prophets!
So what is the difference between what we read in the Bible and what we see today among Christians? Where is the power and glory we see displayed in Genesis to Revelation? God has not changed so what has? It seems that in recent years faith has been trained (or drained) out of God’s people! We have faith to receive salvation through Jesus Christ but it stops there. What a shame! As the saying goes, “use it or lose it.” If you do not use your faith and build your faith up then you lose it. Unfortunately, most Christians don’t take the time necessary to develop a REAL relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. You cannot trust a person you do not cultivate a relationship with!
In times past it SEEMED Christians could “get away with” a shallow relationship with Jesus. However, we are entering into the last days when an intimate walk with Jesus Christ will mean the difference between having food and not, experiencing protection or not, between life and death, between being a part of the Antichrist kingdom or God’s kingdom.
Daniel 11:32 says, “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do KNOW their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
A storm is coming in the U.S. Will you be one who KNOWS your God? Will you do great exploits for the glory of God? Will you call fire down from heaven or be taken? Will you see the armies of the Lord surrounding you or be shaken and overwhelmed by the armies of the enemy? Will you “walk by faith, not by sight?”
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.” (Isaiah 60:1-2)
“FEAR NOT:
FOR THEY THAT BE WITH US ARE MORE THAN THEY THAT BE WITH THEM.”
